San Francisco Meditation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit meditation organization and have been serving the Daly City community for the past 10 years.

We do offer individual and group guided meditation classes. We facilitate free online events as well as facilitate free online group events to foster community and mental well-being. The purpose of these events is to promote community service, provide support for those in need, and to provide the necessary tools for our brothers and sisters in the world to live a higher quality of life.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to encourage and facilitate the practice of meditation in San Francisco area through a guided meditation program and to foster community support for those who need it the most with our donations or physical support through volunteering. Through the program, our goal is to enhance the quality of individuals' lives by educating them about the physical and mental meditation exercises to help them to lead others and implement a more giving and coexisting lifestyle to help those less fortunate.

We offer a unique place that builds community leaders giving them the tools to support others by bringing peace and harmony to the community.

How our organization is operated

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been offering numerous free live group classes almost daily via Zoom. Private one-on-one meditation and educational classes are free for first-time practitioners.

Our hope, in the future is that, we are able to deliver this education and meditation practice for free to everyone. For now, those who choose to have access to all the resources we provide, we receive a monthly donation in order to cover the over head costs of running a non-profit center. Just like any other non-profit organization, the donations are used to cover rent, utilities, payroll, and other miscellaneous costs.

Volunteering Activities

In the past we have done many community events like clothes drive, food drive, soup kitchen, garage sales etc. However due to the current global pandemic crisis, we are unable to organize these events. We are still committed to helping the community so whenever we get together for social distance nature walks, we go to the closest beach with trash bags. We practice beach meditation and pick up any garbage that may have been thrown at the beach.
